Welcome to Mike Wall's MWOY Fundraising Page!

Team W'all In... for the cure!

Apr 12, 2019

Please join me in supporting The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) by making a donation to my fundraising campaign for Man & Woman of the Year.

Thank you so much for landing on my donation page. I have set a goal to raise $150,000 for LLS. I appreciate all the support and effort from all of you.

I have lost family and friends to cancer like most people. My mother's sister died of Leukemia when she was only two years old in 1954. Back then there was no hope of survival when diagnosed. A lot of progress has been made but the fight continues and people are still losing the battle. I watched my aunt battle cancer for over eight years before she lost the fight at 70 years old and I lost a close personal friend at the age of 35 years old. Cancer does not discriminate by age, race or gender and the people battling these diseases are our neighbors, family members, friends and co-workers.

Another big reason why I accepted the nomination for LLS Man of the Year is because of my nine year old son, Braden. Braden is healthy, but Leukemia is the leading cause of disease related death among children. It is so difficult to think about what some children are going through right now. A cure for cancer cannot come fast enough for all the children and everyone effected by the disease. I am teaching Braden the importance of this cause and doing things for others so please go donate to his campaign instead of mine! BradenWall.com

Thanks to your support, my efforts will help fund therapies and treatments that are saving lives. Over the years, support from people like you has been responsible for the blood cancer advancements that have doubled, tripled, and in some cases quadrupled the survival rate for some blood cancers.

Many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients, but are also now used to treat patients with rare forms of stomach and skin cancers and are in clinical trials for patients with lung, brain, breast, pancreatic and prostate cancers. And LLS funded drugs like targeted therapies and immunotherapies are now saving thousands of lives every day.

All donations are greatly appreciated and tax deductible. They'll not only support LLS research, but patient services, advocacy, public and professional education, and community services as well.

Our team is working to raise as much as possible over the next 10 weeks. Every dollar we raise counts as one vote for my campaign. Please visit my website often and tell friends who would also like to donate!

Emmaline's Candle: Mallory Candle Co has created a specialty candle in honor of Emmaline. Proceeds are going to LLS. Buy Emmaline's Candle Here

Agency/Business Challenges: We have set up two contests to find the Agency of the Year and the Business of the Year. The group that raises the most money in each contest will get a sponsored table and ten tickets to the MWOY Gala on June 1st in Charlotte NC. I really have been blown away by all the support. I cannot thank all of you enough. THANK YOU!

The Man & Woman of the Year campaign has concluded and the winners have been announced. However, we deeply appreciate your ongoing donation and support of LLS’s mission. To make an incredible impact not someday, but today click on the donate button.
